Roads Re Open!!!!

There are loud cheers and some confusion in Weymouth this evening as work on the Weymouth Transport Package draws to a close.

Cones are being cleared, and traffic lights switched on – one question will it all work – only time will tell.

Anybody want to re home our cones?

Anyone with questions about traffic management plans when the Games comes to Weymouth and Portland next year is welcome to drop in between 10.30am and 6pm on Saturday or from 11am to 5pm on Sunday.

Officials will be on hand to present plans about the Olympic Route Network, talk about the proposed temporary traffic management measures such as the park and ride and collect feedback.

All are welcome to visit the London 2012 blue gazebo in front of Brewers Quay, Hope Square, Weymouth.

As Weymouth is an Olympic Venue – we will be hosting the sailing events – and as such we have been suffering whilst transport infrastructure upgrades have taken place.

Some witty sole has produced this memento Click Here so that when we are all benefiting from the improvements we will not forget the disruption!
